City of Taylor - Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting

Celebrate the season with the City of Taylor! The City Christmas Parade is on the first Saturday of December. Line Up begins in Murphy Park, and the parade route follows Main Street from Murphy Park to Heritage Square. The event crescendos with a Tree Lighting celebration in Heritage Square, where Santa will be posing for photos and hot cocoa is free! Come enjoy  

Vendor Village

Join us at the City of Taylor Christmas Vendor Village - with folks set up at Heritage Square, this is the perfect stop for those gifts and decorations while you are shopping in downtown! Our Vendor Village will be set up from 3 pm - 9 pm, after the Heritage Square Farmer's Market from 10 am - 2 pm.

Apply to join the Vendor Village here. Registration is open until Friday, November 28th, 2025 at 5 pm. 

Christmas Parade

The Christmas Parade will begin at 6 p.m. on Main St. from 12th to 3rd St. and will end west on 3rd St. to Vance.

Tree Lighting at Heritage Square

A celebration will begin at Heritage Square just after the parade. Join the Taylor Parks and Recreation Department as they officially light the a tree for the season! There will also be live music, free hot cocoa, and Santa will be posing for photos!
