City of Taylor Clean Up Weekend

Hours: 8:00 am until 3:00 pm
Gates will close at 3:00 pm
Rates per vehicle: Pickup truck $10.00
Trailer $20.00
The City Will not accept: Tires or any hazardous materials including batteries, waste oil, paint, appliances with refrigerant, solvents and chemicals. (However, Keep Taylor Beautiful will have a Recycling drop off site at the Chamber of Commerce at 1519 N. Main Street, to accept tires for a $3/passenger care tire fee, lead acid batteries, wine bottle corks, and plastic garden pots. KTB is also sponsoring a Shredding service (on site) this year; $5/bankers box of paper.)
Brush needs to be manageable to be picked up by hand.
Oil, oil filters, cardboard and scrap metal as well as old computers and printers may be disposed of at Williamson County Recycling Center north of Hutto. No batteries, waste oil and oil filters, appliances with refrigerants, chemicals or other hazardous materials will be accepted at any dumpster locations.
Keep Taylor Beautiful volunteers, including local civic groups, will be picking up trash throughout the city, especially along main thoroughfares starting at 8 a.m. Any citizen who would like to join the effort and pick up trash in their neighborhood is urged to do so and bring their filled bags to the chamber location.
Clean up is limited to City residents only; must show a City of Taylor water bill or valid ID. All Taylor residents are urged to begin their cleanup efforts now and participate in the citywide cleanup and trash off the last Saturday in April and also on one Saturday in the fall.
