1. How do I dispose of bulk garbage items?

The trash company will remove one bulk item per week on your trash day. Please contact Utility Billing at 512-352-2066 to request a bulk item pick up prior to your trash day. No construction material (wood, sheetrock, carpet, etc.) will be removed. Also any item that may have contained Freon will only be removed with a certificate stating that the Freon has been removed.

2. Can I have a garage sale in my yard?

City Ordinance allows each residence to have one garage sale per quarter (no more than four times a year). Signs are only allowed on property where the sale is being held. No permit is required.

3. How do I contact the Animal Control Officer for loose or lost animals?

Sandra Perio is the City Animal Control Officer and can be reached through the Non-Emergency Police Dispatch office at 512-352-5551.

4. Is there a map of the City Limits with the Extraterritorial jurisdiction?

5. Where do I pay my property taxes?

The City of Taylor and the Taylor Independent School District contract with the Williamson County Tax Assessor to collect taxes at the local tax service center located at 412 Vance Street. They can be reached by phone at 512-943-1601or on their website: https://www.wilco.org/PropertyTax
