On June 27, 2022 the Taylor City Council and Taylor Economic Development Corporation held a work session to discuss utility availability along the US 79 West corridor and the Growth Sector and Land Use designations in this corridor. On August 25, 2022 City Council directed staff to engage Lionheart to conduct a process of public engagement and prepare a recommendation to Council regarding an update to the comprehensive plan based on that engagement process.
