Brandon Sellears joined the department in November of 2018 as his first job in the fire service.  He attended Temple Fire Academy and Temple College EMS Professions Program.  He is from Rogers and is an avid bass fisherman and drag racer.  He is currently building a 383 Stroker motor to go into his drag truck.  He will attend our Honor Guard Academy in the fall in order to join the elite team.
St. Jacques
Brian St. Jacques is the newest firefighter in our department.  He's originally from Houston, but has also lived in four other states.  He made his way to Taylor this summer after previously working at two other fire departments in the past few years.  Brian enjoys spending time with his girlfriend Lauren and their 2 cats in their new hometown of Austin.  He also likes to ride and work on motorcycles.
Trent Pokorny has been with the department for three years and quickly promoted to Driver.  He is currently on the Apparatus Committee to design a new fire truck for the department.  Trent enjoys hunting and fishing and also working on old cars (refurbishing a '67 Chevelle and '82 Chevy truck at this time).  The rest of his free time is spent working on his house that he purchased in Taylor!
Cody Kraemer started with the department in January and has become a great asset to Taylor.  He was born in Waco and raised in West.  He attended McLennan Community College where he earned his Fire and EMT certifications.  Cody enjoys being outdoors - especially hunting and fishing - and spending time with family and friends.
